Molly and Aaron

To say that family pulled together for Molly and Aaron’s wedding was a bit of an understatement.  We have truly never seen that many family members all work together to just “get ‘er done!”  In fact, I asked them all if they hired out.  We had setup done in record time and it was perfect!

Molly’s mother and her aunt had a vision for their wedding day, along with Molly, and they scoured antique shops and sales, store sales, and anywhere else they could find vintage items for over a year for the simple, elegant and vintage look and feel of their entire day.  Everywhere you turned, there was a special touch but when you looked at everything together, it just came together beautifully into a cohesive vision!  So much so that we are surely hoping that they won’t want to keep all the beautiful items that were used and Events by Sherri can manage to snag some of them for our inventory to share with other clients!

Molly’s cousin performed the ceremony and family members and Greek Life friends were attendants for the couple.  They had a “dirt” ceremony, as the minister referred to it (I call it a tree planting ceremony).  There were pictures of loved ones on a remembrance table and the guest book was a lab book.  And how cute is this; the seating chart was a Periodic Table that the bride’s mother spent HOURS and HOURS putting together (Aaron is working on his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry).

A beautiful day with picture perfect weather, gorgeous outdoor setting, a stunning sunset and a couple so much in love with each other made for a spectacular day!

Thanks to all the vendors who worked together, and the family members, to make their day truly one that we hope they will never forget!

Please enjoy some of the pictures EBS was able to capture. These do not do justice to all the wonderful details of the day. Keep up with Essential Sunshine Photography and EJF Video Productions for the amazing images and footage they captured during the day.

Such a perfect start to the day!

Even the cows made an appearance to the ceremony!

Kelsey and Joel

Kelsey and Joel’s wedding day dawned brightly and so clear, felt like you could see for miles!

The ceremony was at Kelsey’s family church and they were surrounded by family and close friends (We were honored to have served Kelsey’s twin sister at her wedding 2 short years ago.  We LOVED seeing family and many guests again!).  A brother of the bride played the trumpet as she entered the church and after we closed the doors for her “grand” entrance, her father rang the church bell 5 times to signal her entrance.  Now THAT’S a grand entrance!  Another brother served as a reader and her other 2 brothers were groomsmen.  A true family affair!

The love shown by these two was so evident, in every detail, throughout the ceremony.  When they were pronounced husband and wife, the joy on Kelsey’s face lit up the entire church!

Then they headed to the reception with pics out and around the venue and then they were announced in!   Let the party start!  Guests and family danced the night away with original signature cocktails served throughout the evening.  Then the happy couple was off to begin the “next chapter” in their lives. . . as husband and wife!

Lauren and Troy

Another amazing wedding in the books!  Lauren and Troy’s wedding day dawned with the clearest Fall sky ever.  A bit warm for me but at least it wasn’t raining!

It was clear to me from the first time I saw Lauren and Troy together that they were truly meant to be with one another.  Their love for each other was evident by just looking at the two of them together.

Lauren is very family-oriented as evidenced by having her family members as her attendants, junior attendants, flower girls and ringbearers.  Her cousin was her Matron of Honor and while I missed her toast to the happy couple (taking care of details and was out of earshot) it is clear that those two are extremely close and have been for many, many years.  And her entire family, along with simply amazing vendors, worked tirelessly with her to create her vision.  It was truly a testament to large, close families who work together to achieve a common goal.  Don’t want to get philosophical here but it was really refreshing to see that as families today are sometimes scattered to the ends of the world and lose touch with each other. . . but not in this case.

Many, many small details all came together flawlessly to make their “perfect day.”  Lauren said that she wished “it could have never ended” and that is was “literally the best day of my life thus far.”  Makes our hearts very happy to hear that!

Florals & food were amazing, as usual; the band (first time we had worked with this one) was stellar and one of the best I’ve ever worked with; the minister was a former bride of mine so that was extra special for me; the venue was spectacular; cake was scrumptious;  ceremony music and vocalist were superb; a new photobooth that was really fun and was enjoyed by all the guests; a famous vintage vehicle to transport the bride and groom; and a great videographer who just happened to have gotten married at this venue and photographer – all came together to make one fantastic wedding day for Lauren and Troy!

All the best to a wonderful couple as they begin their new journey as Dr. and Mrs.!
