Kimberly and Ryan

I (Kaitlyn!) am really excited to share this blog post with you! (It's a little later than normal, but we wanted to respect that pictures were part of Christmas presents for parents and grandparents!)
My brother Ryan married the love of his life, Kimberly, on October 7 on a family owned field in Floyd, VA. They knew from the very beginning that they wanted to get married outside so this was the perfect spot! The mountain view was absolutely breathtaking. (Especially the sunrise that the wedding party got to enjoy while we were setting up)!

Ryan and Kimberly shared an intimate first look that began with a sweet prayer before they turned to see each other. After the first look they walked together to hop on the back of a John Deere tractor to be driven up to the ceremony site, which was beautifully adorned for the wedding I might add! While the exchanging of the rings is always a special moment, this exchanging of the rings was extra special because the FOG (my dad!) handcrafted Ryan's ring made of stainless steel with African Paduk wood inlay! During the ceremony the couple chose to include a very special foot-washing ceremony which was a great visual representation of their commitment, humility and love for one another (and there wasn't a dry eye in site!). They shared their first kiss as husband and wife and were announced for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Davidson! (Talk about a proud sister moment!)

Family and friends gathered for a light reception that included a candy buffet and Carol Lee donuts, which are always a huge hit. The newlyweds were able to share a first dance and bite of a donut before the skies opened up for a little bit, but that certainly didn’t stop the fun.

A large group picture and romantic lavender toss exit was the perfect ending to their special day!

So many family and friends came together to make Kimberly and Ryan’s day a success. A huge THANK YOU to all who lent a hand. You were a blessing and we couldn’t have done it without you.

EBS was so lucky to have 2 very important people helping to make the day such a success. I simply could not have done it without them.  Jennifer Davidson (we aren't related but practically sisters) and Alejandro Colemenero who came all the way from Mexico to be with us to celebrate and help make the day come off without a hitch!

**Also another big shout out to the wedding party who was willing to start setup so early!
